The Halo Mole is Nearly Ready for Sabotage!

Over the last six months, we've been hard at work preparing the maps to drive the challenges and experiences our contestants will have during The Halo Mole. Today, we are nearly ready for the series to begin as all the maps have been completed and are undergoing final review and testing. We are hard at work trying to refine the rules and our approach to challenges as well as fixing up any bugs in our 16 challenge maps to make the experience as enjoyable and fun as possible for the contestants while maintaining a challenging and ever suspecting environment. As we enter into our final stages of map testing, we are relying on the greater Halo community to help iron out as many kinks as possible. People will be able to register to be testers starting June 1. More information on that will be released when tester registration opens.

We have been blown away by the support the Halo community has given us behind this project and we aim to deliver. It is encouraging to know that many people that we have talked to are very interested in the idea and have even said they have wanted to be a part of some adaptation of the Mole. While we can't guarantee a block-buster presentation, we are striving for the best we have to offer, both for our contestants and for our viewers when the show airs this coming July. Keep your eyes peeled to TheHaloMole.com for the latest updates to our progress throughout the setup and preparation processes as well as news regarding the actual contest and airing dates.

With the current turnout of the number of applications recently submitted, we have decided to extend the registration an extra two days leaving the deadline to be June 2nd at 11:59 PM Eastern time. After the closing of registration, applications will be analysed and the group of applicants who make the cut will be notified via email the following week. Eligible contestants will conduct a Skype interview along with running through a test map to evaluate the applicant's skills as it will relate to the competition. Within two to three weeks after the eligible applicants are selected and evaluated, the final ten contestants will be chosen. In the following weeks, the competition will commence and contestants sworn to secrecy until the YouTube release of the series. Starting late July, the show will run an episode per week for ten weeks. At the end of the show's airing, the winning contestant will receive their prize obtained throughout the competition.

We want to thank everyone again for all your support and we hope this adaptation is one that will be successful and pursued in the future.
